I would like to welcome you to my website and portfolio. I discovered my love of film in high school and after graduation, began pursuing a degree from Columbia College where I majored in Film and Television. Along the way I discovered my passion for still photography and alas Jim Russell Photography was born. Some of you may know me as Photography on Location. With the new wave of digital photography that the world knows today I thought it was fitting not only to reinvent my photography but to reinvent my company as well. So to all those who have worked with me in the past, welcome to the new generation of Photography on Location, known simply as Jim Russell Photography! I have been serving Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles Counties with my expertise and passion for the art of film for over 20 years and would love to offer you my services.
